We’re thrilled to partner with your organisation to help raise funds and awareness while extending the life of fashion. This guide will walk you through how to set up your charity profile, start listing items, and get the most out of our partnership.

Each purchase through Project Emerald not only supports sustainable shopping but also helps charities like yours reach more people and generate new income streams.

Getting Started: How to List with Project Emerald
Create Your Profile
Upload your charity logo and provide a short description of your organisation.
Add your website, socials, or Linktree.
Include the physical address of each store so customers can easily find pick-up locations.
Send Logo & Wording to Project Emerald Team
We’ll add you as a Charity Partner on our website and at checkout.
Your logo will also appear in the app under Charity Partners.
Upload Your Items
Once your profile is set up, you can begin listing donated or resale items.
Be sure to add clear photos, descriptions, pricing, and pick-up/shipping details.

Promotion & Collaboration
Commitment: As a charity partner, we ask that you promote the partnership in your stores, email newsletters, and socials.
Socials: Project Emerald Marketing will draft a collaboration announcement for Instagram & Facebook.
Email: Our team will design an email banner and suggested wording for your supporters.
Co-branding: Project Emerald will provide our logo so you can promote the partnership on your website.
Fees & Commission
Charity Partner Commission Fee: 10% on all sales made through Project Emerald. This is taken on each sale before the money is paid out to you via Stripe.
This fee helps cover:
Transaction & payment processing.
Marketing & promotional support.
Access to Project Emerald’s customer community.
Order Fulfilment
Orders placed through the Project Emerald app will be sent to your dashboard.
You are responsible for:
Packing and shipping items to customers, or
Coordinating store pick-up (make sure your store addresses are listed).
Don’t forget to upload tracking numbers if posting orders.
Support from Project Emerald
As a charity partner, you’ll receive:
Marketing support to announce the collaboration.
Visibility as a Charity Partner at checkout.
Access to a community of conscious shoppers who want to support your cause.

Q: How do I get started?
A: Contact us via Project Emerald Contact Page or email us directly at hello@projectemerald.com.au. Our team will guide you through onboarding and help you start listing your items.
Q: Who sets product pricing?
A: You do. We recommend setting fair resale values while keeping in mind your fundraising goals.
Q: When do I get paid?
A: Charities will receive their payout within 10 business days once:
The item is marked as “shipped” on the platform (or collected in-store).
A valid tracking number has been uploaded (if shipping).
There are no open disputes in relation to the sale.

Q: Who handles shipping?
A: You manage your own shipping or coordinate in-store pick-up. Customers will see store addresses for easy collection.
Q: How will my charity be promoted?
A: Your charity will appear on our website, in the app at checkout, and through marketing campaigns on social media and email.
Q: What type of items can charities list?
A: We welcome quality clothing, shoes, and accessories. Items must be clean, in good condition, and have a resale value of $20 or more.
Q: What are the expectations of me as a charity partner?
A: We expect our charity partners to actively promote Project Emerald and the partnership across their platforms and community. This includes, but is not limited to, in-store promotion, social media, and email newsletters. We are committed to collaboration, so if there’s something you’d like to see from us, please let us know — it likely already exists or we can create it together.
