We’re excited to partner with you and bring your products to our growing community. This guide will walk you through the onboarding process, how to list your items, and answer common questions.

Emerald is a purpose-driven marketplace, proudly born in Tasmania, that connects conscious customers with brands who care. Every purchase on Emerald supports your brand and helps grow a community committed to making fashion more sustainable.

Our mission is to connect conscious consumers, brands, and charities in a trusted resale ecosystem — extending the life of fashion, creating new income streams, and driving measurable impact.


Getting Started: How to List with Project Emerald

1. Create Your Profile on the App

  • Provide your brand logo and a short description of your business

  • Include your website, social links, or Linktree

  • Connect your bank account details via Stripe in the payouts section of the account page. This will ensure we can pay you once a sale has been made

2. Send your Logo to Project Emerald Team

  • We’ll feature your logo on our Popular Brands list in the app

  • Your logo will also be added to our Brand Partners page on our website

  • Our marketing team will create a social media post announcing the partnership and add you as a collaborator on Instagram

3. Upload Your Items

  • Log in to your seller profile and start adding your products

  • Include clear photos, descriptions, pricing, and stock details

4. Promotion & Collaboration

  • Socials: PE Marketing will draft a collaboration announcement for Instagram & Facebook

  • Email: Our team will design an email banner and wording to share with your customer base

  • Co-branding: Project Emerald will provide our logo so you can highlight the collaboration on your website and socials


Fees & Commission

  • Platform Fee: 15% on all brand partner sales. This is taken on each sale before the money is paid out to you via stripe.

  • This fee helps cover:

    • Transaction & payment processing.

    • Marketing & promotional support.

    • Access to Project Emerald’s customer community.

  • As a brand partner, you will receive a 2% royalty fee for EVERY sale made by other individuals on the Project Emerald platform. This will be paid to you monthly into your nominated account.

    We offer this royalty payment to encourage collaborations across our platform and to help build a truly circular economy in the fashion industry. Sales no longer have to be thought of as transactional. The more times your garments are sold on our platform, the more royalties you can attract.

Order Fulfilment

  • Orders placed through the Project Emerald app will be sent to your seller dashboard.

  • You are responsible for:

    • Packing and shipping orders to customers.

    • Uploading tracking numbers once dispatched.

Support from Project Emerald

As a partner, you’ll have access to:

  • Marketing support to promote the collaboration.

  • Customer service support for order-related queries.

  • A growing network of conscious customers eager to discover your brand.


Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How do I get started?
A: Contact us via  Project Emerald Contact Page or email us directly at hello@projectemerald.com.au. Our team will guide you through the onboarding process and help you start listing your items.

Q: What are the expectations of me as a brand partner?

A: We expect our brand partners to actively engage with and promote our brand across their platforms and customer base. This includes, but is not limited to, social media and email marketing. We are all about collaboration, so if there is something you would like to see from us please let us know - it likely already exists or we can create it for you.

Q: Who sets product pricing?
A: You do. We recommend aligning with your standard RRP (Recommended Retail Price).

Q: When do I get paid?
A: Sellers will receive their payout within 10 business days once the following conditions are met:

  • The item is marked as “shipped” on the platform.

  • A valid tracking number has been uploaded.

  • There are no open disputes in relation to the sale.

Royalties are paid monthly retrospectively.

Q: Who handles shipping?
A: You manage your own shipping. Customers will pay shipping at checkout (you set the rates).

Q: How will my brand be promoted?
A: We’ll feature you on our website, socials, email campaigns, and within the Project Emerald app.

Q: What type of products work best on Project Emerald?
A: We welcome quality clothing, shoes, and accessories. Items must be clean, in good condition, and have a resale value of $20 or more. Think: pieces you’d be happy to receive yourself.

Q: What royalty am I eligible for when my brand is sold on the platform?
A: You are eligible for a 2% royalty on all sales of your brand made through the platform.
